Thousands from Budhal, adjoining constituencies extend support to Mian Altaf.

Wangat: In a major boost to his Lok Sabha election campaign, over a thousand people from Budhal constituency cutting across party, caste and community lines today extended their support to Mian Altaf Ahmed Sahab.

Led by Baji Abdul Wahid, forebearer of prominent spiritual legacy, prominent political and social figures from over 60 Panchayats of Budhal and parts of Rajouri and Darhal-Thannamandi constituencies visited Mian Altaf Ahmed at Baba Nagri, Wangat, and extended their unconditional support to him. They said that Mian Altaf Ahmed’s candidature is a matter of honour and blessings for them and they want to work for him rising above party and other considerations.

“Lok Sabha elections are going on. When the candidate before us is Mian Altaf Ahmed Sahab, we can not divide ourselves into party, caste and community affiliations”, said Baji Wahid. He said in his long political career as Minister and legislator, Mian Sahab never discriminated against anyone on basis of party, caste, language and community. It is time for people to send a clear message that party, caste and community doesn’t matter when candidate is Mian Altaf.
In his address to the visitors, Mian Altaf Ahmed said that people of Rajouri and Poonch have always been close to the hearts of his family across the generations. “I am glad to see same support, love and affection which my revered father and grandfather enjoyed”. He thanked the visitors and assured that he will never allow anyone to let them down.
