Dr. Farooq Abdullah addresses public rally in Kellar Shopian 

Srinagar, 13 Sept: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah addressed a workers’ convention in Keller, Shopian. 

The event was organized by senior party leader and Alliance candidate for Shopian, Sheikh Mohammad Rafi. The convention was attended by Member of Parliament for South Kashmir, Mian Altaf, and party leader Dr. Sameer Kaul. The convention drew a large, enthusiastic crowd, reflecting the party’s robust grassroots support in the region.

On the occasion, Dr. Farooq emphasized that the upcoming election is not just a battle for a few, but a fight for the entire Jammu and Kashmir region. He stressed the importance of rectifying past injustices for the benefit of all citizens.  “We are united in this struggle for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said. 

Highlighting the significance of the alliance between the Congress and the National Conference in stopping the communal forces in various constituencies. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the National Conference to ensure a strong opposition against prevailing powers. “Together, we can fight for the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
