A delegation from Mehandar, led by former MLA and National Conference candidate Mr. Javaid Rana, met with party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his residence in Gupkar. During the meeting, dozens of political activists from Mehandar, including former PDP General Secretary and candidate Advocate Morifat Khan, joined the National Conference along with several of his supporters. Dr. Farooq Abdullah warmly welcomed the new members into the party. Political Advisor to the party’s Vice President, Shahmir, and District President Rajouri, Shafayat Ahmed Khan, were also present on the occasion. This joining is seen as a significant boost to the National Conference in the region.
