Sagar asks admin to make ample arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr

Asks stakeholder departments to work in tandem to ensure that people observe  auspicious occasion in a hassle free manner

Srinagar, 08 Apr: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar on Monday asked LG Administration to make adequate arrangements for ensuring smooth conduct of Eid-ul-Fitr festivities.

In a statement released from the party headquarters, Sagar said, “Elaborate arrangements should be made for ensuring cleanliness and other related things for the general convenience of the devotees at all the Eidgahs and Jamia Mosques.”

He asked all the stakeholder departments to work in tandem to ensure that people observe the auspicious occasion in a hassle free manner. 

“It’s for the PDD, FCSC, PHE and other line departments to ensure basic and effective amenities to people on Arfa & Eid observance. Checking squads should be deputed to keep a check on undue profiteering and black marketing. Municipalities in towns and cities across J&K should ensure cleanliness around Masjids, Eidgahs’, Major shrines and Jamias,” he added.
